Holiday Madrigal Dinner

For the fourth holiday season, the Brown County Presbyterian Fellowship is presenting a Madrigal Dinner. It features both secular and religious music of the 15th and 16th century. The guests come to dinner with the Lord of the Manor and his friends to participate in great food, fun, and singing.

The dinner will be presented on Friday, December 10th and Saturday, December 11th at the Brown County Presbyterian Fellowship, 602 North State Road 135. Seating is at 6:30 p.m. The dinner and music begin at 7:00 p.m. The food is catered by Kevin Ault and the Hotel Nashville The price is $25 for dinner and music, with proceeds going to the Brown County Literacy Coalition.

Performers from eight different local churches participate in the music. The costumes are Renaissance period and made by the members of the Brown County Presbyterian Fellowship. Dale Casiday is the musical director. His Madrigal experience began with the Castlewood Singers in Indianapolis. He and Brian Galm sang with that group in Carnegie Hall in New York.
