Brown County
Winter Art & Craft Fair
Nov. 25 & 26, 2005
The day after Thanksgiving, dozens of artists will fill the Conference Center at the Season’s Lodge for the Winter Art and Craft Fair, Nashville’s answer to Santa’s workshop.
While others are challenging the hustle and bustle of town, smart shoppers will take a leisurely stroll through the tables of hand-crafted goods and spend a bit of time chatting with the elves that made them.
The arts and crafts represented at this year’s fair are pottery, basketry, weaving, knitting, scherenschnitte, folk art, quilting, fabric dolls and yo-yo quilting, fine art, jewelry, batik children’s clothing, mosaic pieces, wood furniture, soaps and lotions, gourd art and stained glass.
A Nashville tradition for more than 20 years, the Winter Fair will be open Friday, Nov. 25, 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. and Saturday, Nov. 26, 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
A silent auction of hand-crafted pieces will be displayed in the foyer with proceeds benefiting the Brown County Art Scholarship.
